Shelagh was born and educated in the UK, and went to university in Cardiff, Wales, where she met her husband. They left the UK in 1990 for work opportunities and a bit of adventure.

Shelagh and her family have lived in France three times (Lyon, Cote d’Azur and the Pyrenees), Germany (Duesseldorf) and this is the third time they have lived in the Triangle area.

With all these international moves, a career in Relocation was a natural fit. She began in International Destination Services in 1998, working for a boutique agency which helped families move to the Triangle on assignment with Global companies in RTP.

After moving back in 2014 Shelagh decided to broaden her scope and began working with buyers and sellers in General Brokerage. She finds the endless variety of people, homes and the real estate market fascinating, and feels privileged to  help clients navigate through the process of buying, selling and moving.

When not helping clients, Shelagh enjoys exploring the vibrant cities and food scene across the Triangle. She is looking forward to being able to travel again, to the beach and mountains, and back to the UK to see family.

The highlight of 2020 was the arrival of her grandson who thankfully lives with his parents just 5 minutes away.
